Vdub at the pub was established in 2008 by John Short on land at the rear of Drusilla’s Inn – This is where the name originally came from.
John soon moved the event tp the Wimborne Football Club and in 2015 joined forces with Alan Dove. They changed the location to its current home on the banks of the Stour by Wimbourne’s Julians Bridge.
In 2024 John decided to move on to his other projects – Alan continues to head up the the event. Vdub at the pub is a multi-award nominated event with a unique feel, run by a local team of people, performers & suppliers that supports the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
